Sheffield City Council are looking to recruit a social worker to support their MASH team. Contract will be for an initial 6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • To provide advice, support and guidance to the multi-agency workforce
  • Triage requests received by the Children and Families Hub, and when it is required, plan and oversee the agreement of Early Help support with partners to support vulnerable families.
  • Manage a personal caseload of more complex cases, working with families and partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.
  • Holistically assess individual needs and develop child and family plans that treat each person as a unique individual to promote and monitor the safety and well-being of children and parents/carers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 2 year post qualifying experience within UK
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
