As the Lead Software Developer, you will spearhead technological innovation, developing cutting-edge systems using the latest technologies like C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure, and more.
About you
As the Lead Software Developer, you will be an integral part of a leading software development company specializing in the marine domain. You will utilize your extensive experience in web, desktop, and cloud technologies within the .NET and Azure ecosystems to significantly impact the development and evolution of advanced systems.
Key technologies:
Publishing System: Utilizes C#, WPF, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, ASP.NET Core MVC & Web API.
UKHO Data Production Systems: Built with C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure Functions, Blazor, SignalR, and Bootstrap.
Electronic Log Books System: Uses C# and WPF, with cloud components like Azure Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, and ASP.NET Web API.
Cross-Platform Navigation Chart Drawing Components: Developed with C#, .NET Core, and Skia.
Fleet Tracking System: Employs WPF, Azure SQL, WebJobs, ASP.NET MVC, and Azure Storage (Blob + Queue).
Backend Management Systems: Implemented using C#, ASP.NET Core, Azure SQL, and .NET Core Web APIs for B2B services.
Navigation Chart Validation System: Uses C#, ASP.NET Core
Skill requirements:
Skills in shaping and driving development processes, particularly in DevOps and CI/CD for cloud systems
Strong software development skills who can take responsibility and lead areas within this roadmap
Strong skills in software design, UX and Architecture
Being able to show evidence of working with high-level specifications to discover and define detailed requirements
Strong candidates will be able to show they are confident and capable in handling this full range of activities involved in managing and maintaining a successful software system.
