Senior Software Developer - Sheffield - Full-stack - C#, .Net, React, Azure - £50K-£60K DOE, hybrid working 2 days in the office, flexible working hours (core hours between 10am-4pm)

The role
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions and lead a small team ensuring collaboration and best practices in development and coding processes.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full stack (front-end and back-end).
- Work alongside the Principal Engineer and conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A minumum of 4 years experience in full stack development
- Expertise in .Net (a minumum of 4 years commercial experience working with this)
- Strong working knowledge around front end frameworks, ideally React but Angular is also beneficial
- Experience with cloud technologies, Azure is advantageous, AWS also beneficial
- Solid underdstanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL)
- Strong communication skills
Desirables
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Previous experience of mentoring junior developers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
