Automation Tester

Automation Tester with at least 4 years recent Selenium experience is sought by an innovation house based in Sheffield. With large scale investment in technical innovation this Automation Tester will be joining a dynamic, autonomous team delivering a manual to automated testing environment that will facilitate the organisations commitment to cutting edge automation over the coming years. 

This Automation Tester will be joining a highly skilled team that embodies an autonomous knowledge share driven culture allowing this individual the chance to work on greenfield projects using the latest technology. 

This role would suit a Tester who has recent commercial selenium experience plus at least 3 years’ experience writing test scripts and integrating automation tools utilised to test large scale, complex systems.

 The appetite to coach & mentor other team members in automation best practice plus progress quickly into a Test Lead role would be really useful.

This Automation Tester based near Sheffield should have most of the following key skills:

• Extensive experience  writing automated testing scripts at a senior level
• Very strong recent selenium experience
• Proven experience testing complex application or systems across performance, stress & accessibility
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Strong communication skills as internal stakeholder management between technical teams will form a large part of this role 
• Proven experience coaching & mentoring others on automation best practice
• Any experience helping a company move from manual to automated testing would be really usual
• Experience executing tests from Azure DevOps would be a plus
• A real can-do attitude and a passion for technology in general
