Learning Support Assistant Employment Type: Primary school
Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to start at a primary school in Sheffield starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as required.
- Help implement individual learning plans for students.
- Offer emotional and behavioural support to encourage students' progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure each student's needs are met.
About You:
- Patient, kind, and approachable with a genuine passion for working with young people.
- Able to build trusting relationships with students who have varied needs.
- No formal TA qualification required, but relevant experience is essential.
