SEN Personal Care Assistant

Do you have experience supporting children with physical disabilities or complex medical needs?

At Veritas Education, we're looking for a caring and reliable Personal Care Assistant to work in a special school in Sheffield, helping students with physical disabilities access their education and daily routines.

The Role:

• Providing personal care and support to students with physical disabilities.
• Assisting with mobility, feeding, and other personal care tasks throughout the school day.
• Supporting the class teacher to deliver inclusive learning activities and ensure each student can participate.
• Helping students access the curriculum by adapting resources and materials to their individual needs.
• Promoting independence and helping students achieve their personal goals.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in personal care or supporting students with physical disabilities is desirable.
• A patient, calm, and nurturing approach to supporting children.
• Ability to maintain dignity and respect while assisting with personal care.
• A flexible and proactive attitude to supporting students' individual needs.

• Enhanced DBS clearance
• Right to work in the UK

• 2 satisfactory references
