As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide tailored support to students with various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) effectively.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting the social and emotional development of all students.
- Assist in classroom activities, prepare materials and resources, and support students during lessons.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role.
- Confidence and a proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- A current DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- A commitment to going above and beyond to support the educational and personal development of our students.
