Do you have the experience and skill set for the role of a SEN TA? This amazing opportunity has arrived and will enquire you to have unique skill set and to be passionate and hard working. We are looking for SEN TA's who are wanting to make a positive difference to children's lives every day.
Here at Career Teachers we are working with several primary schools in Sheffield who are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, and committed SEN TA's to join them on a day to day, short term and long-term basis.
To be considered for this role you will need to:
- SEN pupils are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task. To have patience is essential
- Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs in particular EBD, SEMH or ADHD.
- An up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service.
- Have excellent verbal and written skills.
- Previous experience working in a similar role within a mainstream primary school setting.
- Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
- The ability to maintain effective and trusting relationships.
- Always remaining positive and giving plenty of praise
