SEN Teaching Assistant (SENTA) - Sheffield

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to join our team at a welcoming and moderately sized primary school in Sheffield. This role involves working primarily with Key Stage 2 pupils, supporting small groups and individuals with phonics, interventions, and behaviour management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with small groups of children and individual pupils, both within the classroom and in break-out areas
  • Support students with their phonics and other interventions
  • Assist with behaviour management
  • Collaborate with class teachers and the wider school team

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Key Stage 2
  • Team Teach certificate is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs

You will be joining an established group of pupils and working within a supportive school community. All applicants will be vetted in line with KCSIE guidelines, must have an enhanced child workforce DBS before commencing work in schools and will be subject to referencing checks.
