Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to join our vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield.

About the school:

  • The school caters to approximately 900 students aged 11-16, providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment, and is nestled in northern Sheffield, boasting modern facilities and a strong sense of community.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in their academic and personal development.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is desirable.
