Job Opportunity: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs)

About the school:
- The school caters to approximately 900 students aged 11-16, providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment, and is nestled in northern Sheffield, boasting modern facilities and a strong sense of community.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs in their academic and personal development.
- Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education is desirable.
