About the school:

  • The school caters to approximately 900 students aged 11-16, providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment, and is nestled in northern Sheffield, boasting modern facilities and a strong sense of community.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in their academic and personal development.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education is desirable.
