Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting Key Stage 2 students in their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TA to join our school in Sheffield on a fixed-term basis from January to July 2025.

Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, focusing on booster sessions and targeted interventions to aid their development in core subjects, particularly English and Maths. You will work alongside the teaching team to provide tailored support to small groups and individual students, helping to boost their confidence and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted booster sessions and interventions in Key Stage 2, with a focus on English and Maths.
  • Support the classroom teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Track and monitor pupil's progress, providing feedback to teachers and other relevant staff.
  • Encourage and motivate students to reach their full potential through structured guidance and encouragement.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or above) is essential.
  • Experience in supporting Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in English and Maths.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Confidence in delivering interventions and small-group sessions to support varied learning needs.
