This role is perfect for someone dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN), in an environment that values each pupil and encourages them to achieve their full potential.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the teaching and learning of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across various age groups.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupils to thrive both academically and personally.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs in a similar or transferable role.
  • A confident and proactive approach to supporting pupils with SEND.
  • Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • A commitment to going above and beyond to support our pupils.
