We are looking for SEN Teacher who are wanting to make a positive difference to children's lives every day.

Here at Career Teachers we are working with a Primary School in Sheffield who are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic, and committed SEN Teacher to join them on a temporary part time basis.

To be considered for this role you will need to:

  • SEN pupils are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task. To have patience is essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status Or equivalent
  • Have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs in particular EBD, SEMH or ADHD.
  • An up to date Enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service.
  • Have excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a mainstream primary school setting.
  • Be confident in managing challenging behaviours.
  • Adaptable and nurturing with a positive demeanour.
  • The ability to maintain effective and trusting relationships.
  • Always remaining positive and giving plenty of praise
