Speech and Language Therapist - Post-16

Ackerman Pierce are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist for 2 days a week - ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays or Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is a degree of flexibility, but Tuesday has to be the main working day.

Will look for candidates who would have 2+ years' experience and are registered, licenced to practice and registered with the royal collage

Offering intervention to Indvidual's but also group work and advise and guidance to tutors as well as. Would be 8-10 class size

16-25 and have education health and care plan and the speech and language specifcs will be outlined in the plan

Face to face interview

Pay Rate: 45/h

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist:

  • Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
