GSL Education is currently seeking a Sports Coach to work in secondary schools across Sheffield. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about sports and youth development, offering the chance to inspire students and improve their physical skills and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop structured training plans to enhance technical ability, fitness, and tactical awareness.
  • Ensure safe practice standards are maintained during training and matches.
  • Motivate and mentor students, helping them build resilience and confidence.
  • Communicate with students, parents, and school staff to provide updates on progress and match results.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Sport and Exercise Science or Physical Education (2:1 or higher).
  • In-depth knowledge of sports coaching principles, strategies, and player development.
  • Awareness of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and player safety.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills to foster a positive coaching environment.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
