We are working with Sheffield City Council to find a Contracts Administrator on a temporary basis. Location: SheffieldJob Type: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)Hourly rate: £16.40 per hour.Hours: Full time Monday to Friday.We are seeking a Procurement and Supply Chain Administrator with the right skills and values to join our team. If you are keen to work collaboratively, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in delivering excellent outcomes, we welcome your application. This role is integral in managing the Council’s contract portfolio to ensure best value from our external service providers.Day-to-day of the role:-          Work with a large and diverse portfolio of contracts across Operational Services including general building trades, servicing, maintenance, utilities, and materials supply.-          Collaborate with operational managers to ensure an effective contract management framework is maintained and implemented, ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.-          Develop contract tender documentation, maintain price files, and check invoices.-          Hold contractor performance meetings and handle contract queries.-          Ensure compliance with strict governance frameworks while managing multiple contracts.Required Skills & Qualifications:-          Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.-          Ability to take accurate minutes from meetings and record agreed actions.-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide guidance and support on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders.-          Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.-          Must be able to attend in-person meetings in Sheffield, usually at our Manor Lane depot, when required.
