- Establish and lead the procurement department, developing robust processes to enhance efficiency.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring high standards in quality, cost, delivery, and financial stability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and addressing challenges proactively.
- Partner with internal teams to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and optimize the supply chain.
- A proven track record of delivering exceptional procurement services.
- Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, numerical, and IT skills.
- A qualification at HND Level 4 or equivalent is desirable.
- Competitive Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (DOE).
- Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15 am - 4:30 pm, with an early finish on Fridays (4:00 pm).
