Southfield Engineering & Calibration Services Ltd is a family run business that was established in January 2002. Based in Nottinghamshire we are a leading name for Electrical Testing and Tool Calibration Services, supporting clients operating in many types of industries throughout the U.K.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, trustworthy, hardworking skilled PAT Test Engineer to join our electrical team.

Our Ideal Candidate:

C&G 2377 (or equivalent) or at least 6-12 months experience.

Full driving licence

Computer literate (Word, Excel, PDFs)

Any other electrical knowledge would be advantageous.

Willingness to learn new skills as opportunities are available for progression.

Role

The role will involve driving to sites and offices around the country diligently PAT Testing electrical appliances whilst maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role will also include assisting electricians and fire alarm engineers when required.

The position mostly requires working away from home (usually up to 3 nights per week), however we do have local work to. Overnight accommodation is pre booked and paid for. When working away a 25.00 evening meal and breakfast allowance each night can be claimed (un- receipted). In addition to this a 15.00 overnight allowance is paid for each night away. On the rare occasion when a fourth night is required this allowance increases to 25.00.
