Metalis is currently recruiting for a Finished Borer / Deep Hole Borer on behalf of our client in Sheffield.
The company has received significant investment and will soon be adding new machinery to its site, offering an exciting opportunity to join a growing business.
About the Role:
The company specializes in machining large, heavy-sector components, so experience working with large products will be advantageous. Flexible shift patterns are available, with options including:
06:00am - 14:00pm or 07:30am - 16:00pm or 14:00pm - 22:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating deep hole boring machines to achieve the required finish and accuracy.
- Using overhead cranes to safely manoeuvre large components.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area in line with health & safety regulations.
