As a Field Forklift Engineer you will be responsible for:
- In control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites
- Working with an assortment of equipment including diesel, gas, and electric trucks
- Manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
- Required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately
To be successful in this Forklift Engineer role you will have:
- NVQ Level 3 Qualified
- Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics), or hydraulics. This will include all engine types
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, HGV Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Roadside Recovery
- IT Literate and comfortable using the latest technology
