Fabricator

Our client, a long established manufacturer with an excellent and well-known brand name, seek to appoint a number of Fabricators to work within a fast paced production environment. The appointed Fabricator will have a good fabrication background and have basic knowledge of the use of other production machinery / processes / tools. You'll be joining a business known for a high quality of work on some of the most interesting projects around, and for looking after their staff in a supportive, positive atmosphere.Fabricator - Role and Responsibilities - Fabrication / Welder* Check all Health and Safety of machinery and hand tools before operation* Assemble profiles as per fabrication drawing details* Check assembly at pre-determined points for accuracy to fabrication drawing and sign off* Checking correct components as shown on details fabrication drawing* Checking quality of joints, profile paint finish, size and squareness of frame at all stages of fabrication* Marking individual profiles or individual windows / doors with reference number which corresponds to elevation / fabrication drawing or computer printoutFabricator - Skills and Abilities - Fabrication / Welder* Ability to read Drawings* Accurate in dimensions* Attention to quality of finished product* Good communication skills* Ability to work unsupervised to a high standard and to deadlines* Good team playerFabrication, Fabricator, Welder
