Purpose of the Role

Undertake the primary role of Fabricator Welder in accordance an established procedures. Support the operations with Adhoc duties as and when required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Operations

Working from comprehensive drawings to complete fabrication of projects varying in complexity.

Measuring and marking out plate and sections for cutting, shaping, and drilling. Using varying workshop tools, plant, and machinery.
Experience in working with carbon steel (1.6mm to 20mm)
Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
Ensure production timings are met.

Customer

Understand the customer needs and produce a result to match their expectation.

A safety-conscious approach to work, the ability to work as part of a team.

Support Supervisory staff and colleagues.

Finance

Be aware of the financial consequences of your decisions and output.

Minimise waste.

Experience/Skills/Qualifications/Personal Attributes

Minimum

A recognised qualification in welding and fabrication.5 years minimum work experience as a fabricator.

Desirable

Previous experience of fabricating tanks/vessels, use of powered rollers, press brake and hydraulic shear.
