Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a TIG Welder for an Aerospace business in Sheffield.
The position offers a pay rate of £18.87 per hour and requires a proven track record in welding.
Candidates should have experience working with exotic alloys and must be able to work from 0.7-3ml.
The job involves conducting weld inspections, TIG welding, and ensuring products meet NADCAP and AS9100 standards.

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with an Aerospace business based within the Sheffield area.They currently have a rare opportunity for a TIG Welder to join their existing team.PAY:£18.87phHOURS:Current hours of work are Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pmCompany benefits:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct weld inspection operations to customer drawings.
Conduct TIG welding as and when required.
Conduct weld repairs as and when required.
Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer as well as internal standards and specifications (NADCAP and AS9100 standards)
Interpret drawings.
Work meticulously to work instructions and procedures
Keep equipment operational by completing autonomous maintenance requirements
Provide feedback on production issues as and when they arise
Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
Work on semi-automated welding equipment for both Circumferential and Longitudinal welds.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

NVQ/qualification in Engineering discipline - Desirable
Proven track record in welding - Essential
Must be able to work from 0.7-3ml
Have experience with exotic alloys
Aerospace experience – Desirable
Experience with semi-automated Welding - Desirable
