Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Sheffield
Salary: 12 - 16ph - open to salary expectations
Metalis are currently in partnership with a specialist fabrication company in Sheffield. Due to a healthy work order book, our client is looking to hire a skilled Welder Fabricator on a 12 week temporary to permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* MIG and TIG welding.
* Working with JIGS, assembling parts to drawing or samples.
* Working from drawings to producing fabrications from start to finish.
* Working accurately within a busy Steel Fabrication department.
* Identify and execute fabrication detail to pre-set tolerances and design.
* To use hand tools to achieve manufacture in a safe and correct manner.
* To always wear safety equipment.
* To take responsibility for the maintenance and care of own equipment.
* Work safely and show care to fellow employees.
Salary and Working Hours:
* Hourly rates of pay from 12 p/h to 15 p/h depending on skills and qualifications.
* Overtime available.
* Days regular, Monday - Friday.
* 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
