Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Sheffield. We are currently supporting the business in their search for a skilled Metal Forming / Sheet Metal Worker join their team.
Working Hours & Pay
- Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm
- Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
- Overtime: 1.5 x basic rate
- Holiday: 33 days inclusive of bank holidays
- Benefits: Private Healthcare / Sick Pay following successful probationary period
The Role:
- Cutting, bending, and forming metal components to precise tolerances
- TIG Welding and fabricating
- Interpreting engineering drawings to produce accurate components
- Working with TIG & MIG welding processes for light to medium gauge materials (1mm - 10mm)
- Using press brakes, saws, and other fabrication machinery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Metal Former
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience working with a variety of steel
- Competence in TIG & MIG welding
- Previous work within highly regulated industries (desirable)
