Our Shefford based client, a leading manufacturer known for their commitment to quality, are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as Production Operative on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous manufacturing and production knowledge to gain some extra experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production machinery and equipment following safety guidelines.
  • Assemble, package, and inspect products to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly targets.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and start immediately.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
