The role involves a wide range of technologies. Training and mentoring will be provided where required.Responsibilities• It is the responsibility of the Technical Services Analyst to enable our staff to deliver excellent levels of service to our internal customers by providing a stable, secure and functionally-rich IT platform for our end users that reflects the high standard of IT systems we deliver to our customers.• Ability to learn and adapt new technologies as they appear as driven by Company requirements.• To install and maintain systems that ensure the smooth and productive running of the Company, its systems and its employees, allowing them to deliver maximum benefit to customers• To ensure end users receive an excellent level of performance from their IT systems and equipment, and which enables them to do their job productively and with minimal administrative overhead• Meet customer success criteria and performance targets• To deliver the wider security objectives of the Company, including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials +• To reduce costs and drive efficiencies across the entire business• Writing documentation, providing some coaching to your colleagues so that they can continue to learn from your experience and knowledge.Qualifications, Skills & Experience• Education qualifications required: GCSE Maths and English at grade C or higher• Education qualifications desired: A-Level standard qualifications• Professional Qualifications required: None• Professional Qualifications desired: MD-102, MS-700, SC-400, AZ-104, AZ-140, Extreme networks WiFi, FortiGate firewalls• General skills (communication, questioning, problem solving)• TCP/IP fundamentals• Microsoft Windows-based networks and servers, including Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune• Client computers running various Microsoft operating systems• iOS mobile devices and MDM experience• Experience of centralised administration, securing user environments with lock down• Experience of operating system installations, adding driver support for new hardware and maintaining builds• Ability to accurately test and diagnose problems in a systematic and logical manner prior to delivering projects to implementation• Ability to construct a UAT testing programme and deliver and test a working solution that meets the defined success criteria• Ability to design robust and supportable solutions with low administration and helpdesk overhead• High attention to detail, with an emphasis on providing a seamless, fuss-free but functionally rich end user experience to our end users• Ability to work autonomously for a wide programme of initiatives and projects, formulating a project plan and guiding it through to delivery• Configuring networking equipment• Some knowledge of scripting and programming fundamentals• MS Office and other common client applications• Experience of application packaging and software deployment concepts and technologies• Group Policy, on-premises domains and other ‘legacy’ MS technologies• Microsoft Windows Server Update Services• Microsoft SQL Server installation and administration• RedStor backup solutionAbout UsWhat Centrality can offer you in return:At Centrality you will enjoy fast-paced, challenging and stimulating work within small agile teams.
