Our Client are a well established medium sized business with operations all over the globe; in the last few years they have been growing and have increased their turnover steadily giving the right Maintenance Engineer strong job security and a long term career.

This makes it a fantastic time to join the business as you will play a pivotal role in developing the sites, improving their processes and increasing the level of automation within the manufacturing process.

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:

  • Improving the Manufacturing processes on site, looking at issues with waste, efficiency and operator error
  • Creating draft proposals for improvement projects and presenting these to the Head of Engineering
  • Working alongside the Engineering team and Operations, ensuring any re-occurring issues that arise are Engineered out
  • Involved in looking at new machinery for the site, ensuring that Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing is completed to a high standard

The Candidate:

The Right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will have/be:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience creating project proposals and implementing these
  • Be able to work well with people, in this role you will be working alongside Engineering and Operations so good communication is a must
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis/ Process Failure Mode And Effects
