Property Claims Technician Needed!

Key Information:

Location: Cork, Ireland

Salary: up to£28k

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home)

*During you probation period (6 months) youll be required to be in the office 4 days a week*

This is an opportunity for you to develop your career and work closely alongside experienced Loss Adjusters with a view to progressing towards becoming a Loss Adjuster.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administer new claims and control the lifecycle of the files.
  • Assist Adjusters with investigation, validation enquiries, and caseload management.
  • Liaise with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure optimum customer service, becoming a key point of contact when needed.
  • Aid in the production of technical reports for Adjusters.
  • Ensure compliance with time reporting, billing, internal standards, and financial procedures (such as invoicing).
  • Develop and run management information for clients and internal use, including performance and data integrity reports.
  • Ensure adherence to technical, operational, data protection, and information security policies.
  • Provide account management support and assist with client and business presentations.
  • Attend client review meetings and participate in projects as required.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and resolve queries.

About you:

  • Claims handling experience
  • You must be, or be working towards becoming, CILA/III qualified
  • Organised and able to self-manage workload
  • Strong working knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills, with a capability of establishing good working relationships with your team, colleagues and 3rd parties
  • Excellent stakeholder management with an ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
  • Thrive in a high-pressured working environment
  • Flexible with regards to travel which may be required as and when.
