Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Shefford, is seeking a skilled Fabricator with TIG welding experience to join their production team. The company specialises in working with stainless steel and prides itself on delivering high-quality products to meet customer demands.

As a Fabricator/TIG Welder, you will play a key role in the production team, primarily focusing on TIG welding with stainless steel.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium with varying thicknesses (0.9mm to 5.0mm).
  • Assisting in other manufacturing processes as required, with training provided.
  • Conducting daily equipment checks to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Adhering to workshop health and safety practices at all times.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
  • Producing high-quality products that meet the company's standards and quality checks.
  • Meeting production targets and deadlines to ensure customer demands are met.

Requirements:

  • Fabrication and TIG welding skills (essential).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a production environment.
  • A positive attitude toward maintaining a safe and organised workspace.
