In response to new market and client demands, we are dedicated to expanding our operations and multiplying our annual turnover, presenting an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join and directly scale the business.

About the Role:

As the company’s sole Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to increase sales and profitability of the business.

This will involve identifying new business opportunities, converting existing/dormant opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and maintaining client relationships to achieve sales targets and expand market share.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Demonstrated minimum 3 years of recent experience in a similar role, with knowledge and experience of the industry
  • Ideally, a Bachelor's degree or previous experience in business administration, marketing, or a related field, 
  • Additional certifications in sales or marketing are a plus not required
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the flooring or construction industry with strong knowledge of industry trends and methods
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented and forward-thinking mindset with initiative, and a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and sales analytics tools

What will your role look like?

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, target markets, customer segments, and emerging trends in order to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotional materials to support business development efforts
  • Liaising with clients at all levels as well as architects, contractors, builders and interior designers, ensuring that you always represent the company in a professional manner
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to drive customer satisfaction and to understand client needs in order to provide tailored flooring solutions, which will help to secure long-term partnerships (training can be provided if required)
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of flooring projects and customer satisfaction
  • Provide training and guidance to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to drive team performance and achieve business objectives
  • Completing any other tasks that are deemed within your area of competence
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for senior management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
