NEW IN - an opportunity to join a growing lively Freight forwarder are seeking an Operations clerk within import and Exports you will learn all aspects of freight forwarding and deliver excellent operational services.

Daily duties will include:

  • Arrange and have oversight of export, import and UK domestic operations from start to finish whether this be AIR SEA or ROAD/COURIER.
  • Investigate and plan most appropriate route for shipments
  • Complete International Shipping and Customs Documentation
  • Complete costing & billing for both import and export jobs
  • Work in accordance with international regulations
  • Maintain communication and control through all phases of the journey
  • Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure deadlines are metKey skills required:
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well organised and creative who has a positive enthusiasm and pragmatic approach
  • Detail oriented with strong planning, organisational and analytical skills
  • A motivated self-starter with a strong drive to support the company in its growth initiatives
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and in-house systems Cargowise an advantage

Monday to Friday 9.00-17.30pm
