We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic primary school in Shepperton (Surrey), supporting reception to KS2 students with SEND.
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary setting and have SEND experience, has to be available the whole academic year.
The role:
- Assist children in their learning and growth as a Teaching Assistant
- As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as a Teaching Assistant
- Work 1:1 with the children with SEND needs to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones
Requirements:
- Available Immediately!
- Ideally have a L3 childcare qualification or be a recent graduate!
- Experience working in a primary school as Teaching Assistant and supporting students with SEND
- Willing to support SEND children as a Teaching Assistant
- MUST have a CHILD ONLY DBS or willing to get one
- Have experience with children in some capacity in the UK where you can provide a reference for
- Live local to Shepperton (Surrey) or within a commutable distance
