Sonic Summary
- We are seeking Class 2 Day Drivers for a national drinks wholesaler specializing in on-trade drinks distribution across the South and South West of England.
- The role involves driving a curtain-side vehicle to deliver various alcohol products to licensed premises, with some heavy lifting required, although assistance will be provided.
- This is a temporary, ongoing position with Monday to Friday hours starting between 05:15am and 07:00am, typically working 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Candidates should have a Class 2 licence, and while prior Class 2 experience is advantageous, full induction and training will be provided.
- The position offers an hourly pay rate of £15.00, along with benefits such as 28 days annual leave, online payslips, and potential permanent opportunities.
Working as part of their Shepton Mallet team, your main duties will include driving a curtain-side vehicle to deliver beers, wine, spirits and associated products on a set route to licensed premises throughout the South and South West of England. This work involves some heavy lifting but you will be accompanied with a drivers mate to assist you.
This is a temporary contract, working on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis for the right candidate(s).
Prior Class 2 experience is advantageous but not essential, as a full induction and training will be provided.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 05:15am to 07:00am starts daily,
Usually 8hrs to 10hrs per day, dependent on routes.
Hourly Pay Rates:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
