Job description
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the hotel's high-end restaurant and bar, offering an amazing farm to fork dining experience in a beautiful 60 cover restaurant. The restaurant is open from breakfast to dinner, including afternoon tea and early evening cocktails.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for driving the standards and developing the team to deliver exceptional service and experiences to all their guests.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager with stock control and achieving GP, ensuring compliance and procedures are adhered to, day to day operations management, staff recruitment, training and development and overall quality control. You will have experience gained from a luxury hotel/high end restaurant background.

This is a great opportunity for an established Assistant Restaurant Manager/Supervisor looking to continue to progress and develop their career within a top rated, luxury hospitality operation.

Required Skills:

  • Previous operational experience within a similar sized operation from the luxury market
  • Superb knowledge of quality food & drink, up to date with current trends and holds Industry related qualifications.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire teams whilst continually training & developing.
  • Thrive under pressure in an unpredictable environment.
  • Hands-on approach with a passion for service and the highest attention to detail
  • Pro-active and good at problem-solving, with the ability to manage staff ratios and deliver consistent standards.
