Traffic Planner required for a thriving temperature-controlled storage and distribution business based in Evercreech, near Shepton Mallet.
General OverviewOperating in the FMCG sector, we offer both cross dock and storage & picking services for a variety of temperature-controlled foodstuffs from our own 5 warehouse facility.
We also provide distribution throughout the UK & Europe with our fleet of 60 vehicles, primarily offering a 'groupage' service as well as full load movements with professionalism and efficiency.

The PositionThe full-time position requires a logical-thinking candidate who can work methodically under pressure, with good communication skills and strong geographical knowledge. The role will involve efficient and cost-effective route planning through our TMS, as well as liaising with customers, drivers, and other departments within the business.
It is essential that the successful applicant can work both independently and as a team member, contributing, sharing, and building ideas together to achieve the smooth running of the Traffic Planner transport operation.
ShiftVarious shifts between 05:00 - 21:00 Monday to Friday. Weekend, Bank Holiday, and on-call cover on a rota basis.

- 4 weeks Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays.
