Parts Advisor required. Our client is an agricultural equipment supplier with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They are now looking a Parts Advisor around the Bath area due to growth within the business.

Successful candidates will deliver great customer experience by providing advice and support whilst ensuring all the back of house stock maintenance processes are adhered to. This also includes providing data and reports to ensure the parts function and inventory meets customer demand and is in line with manufacturer guidelines.



Parts Advisor Position Overview

  • Handle incoming customer calls and emails regarding parts inquiries.
  • Assist customers by identifying parts, providing prices, and checking availability.
  • Prepare parts orders for picking, collection, and delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels according to established processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Advise customers on the best value options for service parts.
  • Place orders using the manufacturers' systems.
  • Maintain close communication with service engineers, internal departments, suppliers, and customers to update them on parts requests.
  • Process parts invoices and allocate them to jobs for service counter and trade sales.
  • Conduct stock checks and audits, resolving any discrepancies internally or with suppliers.


Parts Advisor Position Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role would be advantageous
  • To be able to answer incoming calls / emails for enquiries
  • IT literate
  • Technical ability in product / part knowledge would be a strong advantage
  • Keen communication skills
  • Experience with objection handling






Parts Advisor Position Remuneration

  • Salary £20,000 - £28,000
  • Working hours 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
  • 21 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
