This is a fantastic opportunity for a part or newly qualified accountant to join a dynamic and nimble Finance Team.

Role ProfileYou will work within a small team to deliver corporate-focused work and tax compliance, under the guidance of our Compliance Senior Manager.Responsibilities:

  • Management review of financial information: management accounts, VAT returns, budgets, forecasts, and year-end financial statements.
  • Preparation and review of financial information for property development companies, a media business, and UK Trusts.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of personal, trust, and corporation tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and company laws.
  • Collaborate on projects with colleagues in other offices and third-party advisors.

In addition, you will work closely with our Head of Tax on the delivery of our tax compliance and tax reporting programme with support provided by our Tax Assistant and dedicated Administration Officer. You will have the opportunity to build your tax knowledge and experience with a view to taking responsibility for the delivery of our in-house tax advisory, compliance and reporting programme within the next three years.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience in practice or a tax environment.
  • Highly organised with a proactive and common-sense approach.
  • Integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent administration and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Tactful, diplomatic, and approachable, able to deal assertively with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent IT skills and commitment to ongoing professional development (CPD).
