Hays are supporting a regionally based construction company, who specialise in listed buildings, including building and restoration.As a result of expanding projects, they require a new Site Manager to support the team. As a Site Manager, you will oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and site personnel. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all site activities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise and manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes including listed and historical buildings
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • SMSTS and First Aid at Work
