We are looking for a motivated Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Prompt and efficient maintenance of all machinery

  • Advising and training any operators on use of machinery through monitoring the production line.

  • Creating a maintenance plan/schedule, preventing any downtime.

  • Taking ownership and creating a maintenance schedule, prioritising the workload, planning, and

    communicating this with your colleagues.

  • Timely and correct remedying malfunctions of machines and devices

  • Minimising maintenance costs where possible

  • Identifying unsafe situations and rectifying promptly

  • Management of any stocks, parts or consumables required and maintenance workshop.

  • Provide advice to other employees performing maintenance related tasks.

  • Leading and driving continuous improvement and working efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A proactive work ethic
  • Good at establishing working relationships with both internal staff and external suppliers, developing relationships and using those relationships to drive behaviours
  • Results oriented person that will constantly challenge the way things are done
  • 18th Edition
  • Testing & Inspection
  • Apprentice Trained
