Interim Finance Director - Business Transformation

We are looking for a commercially astute Interim Finance Director to oversee the financial integration of three businesses into a single, cohesive entity. This critical role will ensure the project progresses without disrupting day-to-day financial operations, providing oversight on financial structures, ERP migration, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial integration, ensuring a smooth transition of accounting processes and reporting structures.
  • Provide strategic oversight on financial risk, compliance, and operational impact.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Finance team to align contracts, manage TUPE-related financial considerations, and streamline reporting.
  • Ensure the successful migration of financial systems onto Microsoft ERP, supporting configuration and testing.
  • Maintain business continuity, ensuring the transformation does not disrupt financial performance.
  • Support customer contract novations, working with legal and commercial teams to facilitate smooth transitions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experienced Finance Director with a background in M&A, business restructuring, or financial transformation.
  • Strong technical expertise in financial due diligence, risk management, and ERP system transitions.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, ensuring stability during change.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

Start Date: ASAP | Project Completion: 1st October

Flexible engagement - Open to full-time or part-time arrangements and Hybrid working from their office near Yeovil.
