Mploy Staffing Solutions Ltd is looking to source a permanent Payroll Administrator to join a longstanding client in Sherborne, Dorset.

  • £15 per hour pay. Expect a take home pay of £11,700 PA.

  • 30 days of holiday per annum/pro rata (including bank holidays).
  • part time & permanent work. Our client is offering a 15 hour per week contract over 2 to 3 days, between Monday to Friday.

  • has experience in processing & delivering a monthly payroll in an accurate, compliant & timely fashion.
  • can multitask and work exactly/to deadlines. Expect to: enter, verify and reconcile payroll data; resolve payroll enquiries from internal stakeholders; support with general accounts queries; comply with tax, pension and other relevant regulations/law/best practice; prepare payroll for audit; process timesheets and job costings & support with general office administration.
  • is system savvy. Our client is looking for experience using Sage (Sage50 ideally) and the Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel skill including Formulas, Pivot Tables and Vlookups).
  • is educated to a L3 standard.
  • has an excellent attention to detail with an ability to review & interpret payroll data.
  • is logical and flexible.
  • understands basic payroll concepts such as P45s, P46s, Tax Codes, NICs, Student Loans etc.
  • is responsible.
  • is an articulate communicator with a good standard of written and spoken English.
  • has a friendly demeanour and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. Expect to support our client’s Senior Management Accountant.
  • is trustworthy & highly confidential.
