Our client, a forward thinking business in the Southwest experiencing significant growth, is actively seeking a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Finance Assistant, you will assume a pivotal role in supporting the seamless and efficient operation of the business's financial function.
The responsibilities:
- Processing of all incoming invoices, ensuring that they are accurately recorded and handled in a timely manner to maintain efficient financial operations.
- Providing assistance with all financial control activities, which encompasses the meticulous maintenance of accounts and reports to ensure accurate financial tracking and oversight.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and timely submission.
- Support the maintenance of Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) filings with Companies House, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date and compliant with legal requirements.
- Maintaining internal records of financial transactions and ensuring that all payments are executed promptly.
- Adhering to internal procedures for authorization to uphold organizational integrity.
The candidate:
- Demonstrated and proven experience in a similar accounts support role, showcasing a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Proficient with accounting and accounting software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities that allow for effective interaction and collaboration with diverse groups of people.
- Highly developed organisational skills that facilitate the efficient management of tasks and projects, ensuring that all details are meticulously handled.
