The company

Our client, a prestigious food processing and manufacturing business located in North Norfolk, wish to appoint an inspirational Enigneering Shift Lead to join their team. As a well established business with a reputation for providing great quality to food service and retail customers, our client goes from strength to strength.

The role

Working the highly desirable Panama shift, reporting to the Engineering Manager you will lead the engineering team to ensure full support and expertise to the manufacturing team is maintained maximising efficiencies and minimising cost.  You will provide expert engineering technical support for the relevant shift.

You will manage/supervise the department and all Engineer’s. You will be responsible for maintaining the company’s production plant, site facilities and services.

The person

Our ideal candidate will have a served recognised apprenticeship with electrical and mechanical background and experience within a FMCG environment.  Working knowledge of engineering drive systems and electrical control (HMIs, profibus PLCs). You will have the ability to manage a team, have a proactive approach to work issues and ability to address people issues as well as performance and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
