We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced social worker to join our team in the amazing Shetland Islands.

We're seeking a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to achieving the best outcomes for adults and their carers. If you're driven to make a meaningful impact, this role will allow you to bring your enthusiasm and expertise to the forefront.

This position offers a minimum 6-month contract, with a competitive hourly rate, accommodation provided, and flights covered.

Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Working with adults and older people
  • Managing your own caseload
  • Carrying out assessments and Reviews
  • Developing Care plans
  • Report writing

Requirements:

  • Member of the PVG scheme
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Council officer experience
