I have a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join a well-known company based near Telford. As a maintenance engineer you will assist in the planned and reactive maintenance of plant and equipment.

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their continental shift team. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical abilities. As well as a good salary and benefits package my client offers career development opportunities for those who seek it.

Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:

  • 8% employer pension contribution.
  • 265.38 holiday hours per annum.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

  • Continental shift rota
  • Planned maintenance activities.
  • Respond to breakdowns.
  • Fault finding.
  • Update CMMS.
  • Support with installations.
  • Actively contribute to company continuous improvement activities.

As a Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Recognised electrical qualifications. (NVQ Level 3 or HNC Electrical).
  • 18th edition.
  • PLC and Robotic knowledge.
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques (Kaizen, 5S).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety.
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience.
  • Manufacturing experience.
