A growing manufacturing company in Shropshire is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical skills and FMCG experience.
The position offers a salary of £52,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including 22 days of holiday and a company pension scheme.
Candidates should ideally be apprentice trained to HNC Level 4 and electrically qualified, with experience in CMMS and PLCs, preferably Siemens S7.
The role involves performing planned maintenance, attending breakdowns, and promoting health and safety on a days continental shift pattern.
This opportunity is commutable from areas such as Telford, Wolverhampton, and Shrewsbury, and candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.

A fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work for a growing manufacturing company based in the Shropshire area. My client is a multi-award-winning business group that provide manufacturing, supply, and transport of their products globally.

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team on a days continental shift pattern. The right person will be a multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical abilities and previous experience in an FMCG environment. As well as a good salary and benefits package my client offers stability and great working culture.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

Continentals 4 on 4 off. (Days only with holiday night shift cover).
Carry out planned and routine maintenance.
Attend breakdowns.
Promote health and safety.
Update CMMS.
Project work.
Installs.

As a Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

Apprentice trained ideally to HNC Level 4
Must be electrically qualified.
18th Edition (Desirable).
CMMS experience.
Experience using PLCs (Preferably Siemens S7).
Experience with Fanuc and ABB Robots (Advantageous).
Strong fault-finding capabilities.
FMCG experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Good IT skills.
