We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Mentor to join our team.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behavior, providing support and guidance.
Implement strategies to manage and improve behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create tailored interventions for students.
Monitor and track progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Behavior Mentor or in a similar role.
Understanding of SEMH and experience working with students who have these needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Relevant qualifications in education or psychology (desirable).
