Remuneration: £30,000 Neg. + Up to £10,000 Bonus
Extensive Benefits including 10% pension contributionThe role of the Specification Coordinator - Decorative Surfaces will involve:
- Office based sales position selling a manufactured range of predominantly tabletop and door laminate (HPL - high pressure laminate) and waterproof bathroom & shower wall panels (also promoting where possible kitchen worktops and other decorate surfaces)
- Supporting the field sales team who spend the majority of their time selling into social housing, new build, buy-to-rent and care homes sectors
- Cross selling and upselling
- Managing relationships with builders merchants
- Utilising salesforce CRM system and Glenigan leads for projects
- Targeted to help develop a pipeline of projects of circa £15m (current conversation rate if approx. 30%)
- Building and maintaining relationships with the specification community
- Developing an electronic customer base and creating value
- Typically 3 days in the North East office, rest of time visiting customers nationally
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Decorative Surfaces with:
- Must have B2B sales experience, ideally selling interior building products
- Experience with the following products would be highly advantageous: doors, flooring, lighting, fabrics, LVT, laminate flooring, vinyl flooring, decorative surfaces, worktops, showers, bathrooms, shower panels, radiators, curtains, blinds, shutters, ironmongery, wall panels, cubicles, rugs, carpets, and furniture
- Ideally will have experience selling into social housing, new build, buy-to-rent and care homes sectors
- Highly pro-active and self-motivated
- Lead generation
- Telesales experience with some client facing ability
- Energy, passion and enthusiasm to work in a price orientated market
- Strong commercial, networking and CPD presentation skills
